Red runs through me — fire in my belly, love in my bones. It is the colour of strength, of protection, of standing firm for those I love. I have always loved poppies; they are my daughter’s birth flower, a reminder of resilience and hope. I am a friend, a mother, an anchor, a rock. When life throws its hardest blows, I catch them — even when I am afraid — and I keep going. I have learned courage the hard way, and I use what I’ve lived through to gently lift others when they cannot find their own voice. I feel deeply. I am fierce when I must be, and fragile when I hurt. I love openly, I hurt quietly, and I choose hope anyway. This journey has tested me, but it has not broken me. I am alive, living life and making memories with those I love and care about ❤️
