We went for a vintage theme as we thought Gillian had a bit of an 'Edith Piaf' look with her lovely curly hair. She was totally open to the concept and just went with our suggestions.
We were blown away at how well she followed my direction. I coached and guided her through all the poses and she just nailed it.
The lighting, backdrops and outfits were carefully planned to give an authentic old-Hollywood vibe. We used what we had in the studio closet, which included the Bakelite telephone that I'd purchased ages ago for something else, and never used.
